These are offspring from our vast dahlia plants.  We have about 50 different dahlias and these are seeds that grew from last year's flowers.  We dug them all up and transplanted the baby seedlings into pots.  They've been growing well in the little pots for 1.5 months, and some are starting to flower.  Dahlias in our area either need to be dug up each year and replanted after frost, planted in pots, or they are annuals.  We dig them up each year and store the tubers in boxes in our basement.
